SELECTION OVERVIEW

Leakage control starts with the drive arrangement.

The CQB-F uses a magnetic coupling to transmit torque through a stationary containment shell, eliminating the conventional rotating shaft seal. Fluoroplastic and ceramic wetted components are selected for chemical resistance, while the outer metal casing supports the pump body for practical pipework installation.

Flow range1.8–100 m³/h

Representative family range; confirm the selected model at the required operating point.

Head range8–32 m

System resistance, liquid density and the full operating curve must be reviewed together.

Motor range0.12–22 kW

Motor power depends on flow, head, specific gravity, viscosity and service margin.

Liquid temperature−20 to 100°C

Permitted temperature depends on the exact lining, bearings, seals and chemical.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

  • Acid and alkali transfer
  • Chemical dosing and circulation
  • Electroplating and surface-treatment lines
  • Pickling, water treatment and process skids

INFORMATION REQUIRED

  • Liquid name, concentration and temperature
  • Required flow, total dynamic head and duty pattern
  • Specific gravity, viscosity and vapor behavior
  • Site voltage, frequency, ambient and installation details

OPERATING NOTES

  • Use for clean liquids without suspended solids unless a reviewed construction states otherwise.
  • Never assume “fluoroplastic” means universal resistance; check every wetted component.
  • Avoid dry running, closed-valve operation and loss of suction because internal friction parts rely on the liquid.

KEY DESIGN POINTS

Four details that determine whether CQB-F is the right pump.

01

Sealless magnetic drive

Torque passes through the containment shell without a rotating shaft seal, helping reduce external leakage risk when handling hazardous, corrosive or valuable liquids.

02

Fluoroplastic and ceramic wetted path

Wetted materials are chosen against the exact chemical, concentration and temperature. Final selection must verify the casing, impeller, shaft, bearings, O-rings and gaskets together.

03

Compact, pipe-supporting construction

The close-coupled layout reduces footprint. A metal outer shell provides mechanical support around the fluoroplastic pump body for a robust industrial installation.

04

Clean corrosive liquid service

The standard selection is intended for clean liquids. Solids, crystallization, gas entrainment, high viscosity or suction uncertainty require a specific engineering review before quotation.

BEFORE ORDERING

Confirm the complete duty, not only the model name.
